Length of the park = 20 m

Breadth of the park = 15 m

Radius of the pond = 7 m

In this case,

Area to be cemented = Area of the park - Area of the pond

Area of the park:- (rectangular)

Area of rectangle = lb

∴ Area = 20 m × 15 m = 300 m²

Area of the pond:- (circular)

Area of circle = πr²

∴ Area = (22/7)(7 m)(7 m) = (22)(7) m² = 154 m²

Area to be cemented = 300 - 154 = 146 . And cost = (146 )(15/) = 146 × 15 = 2190 rupees.
