A greengrocer bought 1000 oranges some of the oranges were bad and had to be thrown away she arranged the remaining oranges in neat rows when she tried to arrange them in rows of 3 she had one orange left over the same thing happened when she arranged them in rows of 5,7 and 9 finally she arranged them in rows of 11 and there were no oranges left over how many oranges did the greengrocer have on display
