Let required sale be x.
According to the question,
(7425+5927+6825+7420+6562+x)/6=6500
or, (34159+x)/6=6500
or, 34159+x=39000
or, x=39000-34159
or, x=4841
Thus, required sale in 6th month is ₹4841.

Answer:

Sixth months sale is RS.4,831

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Average sale of 6 months = Rs. 6,500

Let sale of sixth month = Rs. X

Total sale of 5 months = 7435 +5927 +6825 + 7420 +6562= 34,169

As we know that ,

Average sales = total sales  / no. of months

       6500 = (34,169 + X) /6

      6500 ×6 = 34,169 +X

       39000- 34169=X

        4831 = X
