Dear Student,

You didn't mention any kind of profit/loss here, so I'll take that nothing.

● Answer -

Qunatity of 40/kg tea = 15 kg

Quantity of ₹50/kg tea = 15 kg

◆ Explaination -

Let x and 30-x be quantity of ₹40/kg and ₹50/kg tea.

Average price of tea would be -

Average price = [40×x + 50×(30-x)] / 30

45 = [40×x + 50×(30-x)] / 30

45×30 = 40x + 1500 - 50x

50x - 40x = 1500 - 1350

10x = 150

x = 150/10

x = 15 kg

Therefore,

Qunatity of 40/kg tea = x = 15 kg

Quantity of ₹50/kg tea = 30-x = 15 kg

Hope that helps you...
