The structure is called as Operon. It is extremely critical to control the enzyme activity, enzyme secretion, protein synthesis etc functions within the cell/body.

Operon is regulatory gene that is consists of
- Regulator Gene: Responsible for repressor protein expression
- Promotor: RNS polymerase attachment site
- Operator: Repressor binding site
- Structural Gene: Enzyme coding sequence of gene

For example - Trp operon, Lac Operon.

The structure is called as Operon that regulates the enzyme activity mainly. It is responsible for enzyme secretion, protein synthesis also. It has a regulator gene that carries protein expression function. The promoter is RNS polymerase

eg. Lac Operon
