A group of students in a camp were supposed to complete the construction of a small
bridge in 30 days. The work took 6 more days to complete as 10 students were absent
throughout the work. How many students were supposed to be working originally ?

work = number of days * work done by 1 person in 1 day * number of persons

work = 30*k*a

work = (30+6)*k*(a-10)

30*a = 36*(a-10)

5a = 6a - 60

a = 60

60 students
