Given:

Gulab gulab jamun simplex cylinder with hemispherical ends with length 5 cm and diameter 2.8

Gulab jamun contains syrup syrup up to about 30 percentage

Find:

Approximately how much would be found in 45 gulab jamun

Solution:

Radius (r) of cylindrical part = Radius (r) of hemispherical part = 2.8/2 = 1.4 cm.

Length of each hemispherical part = 5 - 2 × length of hemispherical part.

=> 5 - 2 × 1.4

=> 5 - 2.8

=> 2.2cm

Volume of one gulab jamun = Volume of cylindrical part + 2 × Volume of hemispherical part

=> πr²h + 2 × 2/3πr³ = πr²h + 4/3πr³

=> π × (1.4)² × 2.2 + 4/3 + 4/3π (1.4)³

=> 22/7 × 1.4 × 1.4 × 2.2 + 4/3 × 22/7 × 1.4 × 1.4 × 1.4

=> 22 × 0.2 × 1.4 × 2.2 + 4/3 × 0.2 × 1.4 × 1.4

=> 13.552 + 11.498

=> 25.05cm³

Volume of 45 gulab jamun

=> 45 × 25.05

=> 1127.25cm³

Volume of sugar syrup = 30%

=> 30/100 × 1127.25

=> 338.17cm³

=> 338cm³

Hence, the 45 gulab jamun is 338cm³

I hope it will help you.

Regards.
