We know that a = v-u/t

                           = 100 - 0/0.003

                           = 100/0.003

                            = 33333.3333

Force exerted on gunman due to recoil of the gun, F = ma = 3kg * 33333.3333

                                                                                                =  0.03 * 33333.3333

                                                                                                 = ~ 1000N

Hope this helps!

Rakshita111: I havee a doubt broo
siddhartharao77: Whats that
Rakshita111: After 3 kg howw did u get 0.03??
siddhartharao77: hahaha..Conversion
siddhartharao77: In the question, it is given that mass 3 kg fires a bullet of mass 30g. so 30g = 0.03kg.
Rakshita111: Okkk okk thnxxx
