A hall is 16 m long and 12 m broad. Find the cost of carpeting it at ₹ 615 per metre square after leaving a margin of 1 metre all around?

We have to subtract 2 from the dimensions . So the new side will be 14m and 12 m

Area of rectangle is l*b

So. 14*10= 140 m^2

615*140 = rs 86100
