Solutions :-

Given :
Length of hall = 25 m
Breadth = 20 m
Height = 5 m

Find the area of its four wall :-

Curved surface area = 2h (l + b) sq. units
= 2 × 5 (25 + 20) m²
= 10 × 45 m²
= 450 m²

Find the area of ceiling :-

Area of rectangle = (Length × Breadth) sq. units
= (25 × 20) sq. units
= 500 m²

Find the cost of painting its four walls and its ceiling at Rs 10 / m² :-

1 m² = Rs 10
(450 + 500) m² = Rs (10 × 950) = Rs 9500

Hence,
Cost of painting its four walls and its ceiling at Rs 10 / m² = Rs 9500
