A hall measures 16 m by 12 m. how many square tiles of side 25will be required to pave its floor

Answer:

area of the hall at bottom floor=l×b

=16×12=192m^2

1m=100cm and 1m^2=100×100

so

192m=192×10000=1920000

the area of a square tile=s×s=25×25=625

so

1920000÷625

=3075tiles

Hello mate,

Here is your answer,

Area  of the hall  = 16 * 12

                            = 192

Area of the square tile = 0.25*0.25

                                      = 0.0625

No: of tiles = Area of the hall / Area of the square tile

                  = 3072 tiles
