Answer:

Area of Trapezium = 1 2 × sum of parallel sides  × perpendicular distance

So,

16 = 1 2 × ( 5+ x ) × 4

16=12×20+4x

16=240+4x

4x=240-16

x=56

Hope it helps!

Mark brailiest pls!!

Answer:-

Area of a Trapezium=

12 \times sum \: of \: the \: parallel \\ \: sides \times perpendicular \: distance

now,
16 = 12 \times (5 + x) \times 4 \\ 16 = 12 \times 20 \times + 4x \\ 16 = 240 + 4x

4x = 240 - 16

x = 56
