A hall msr 40m*24m. Find the NUMBER of carpets of size 6m*4m required to cover it's floor after leaving a boarder of width 2m all around its wall from inside

After leaving the border,
Area of the hall to be carpeted
 = (40 - 4)(24 - 4) = 720
Area of each carpet
 = 6 \times 4 = 24
No. of carpeta required =
 \frac{720}{24}  = 30
