Given :

  • Initial velocity (u) = 50 m/s
  • Final velocity (v) = 0 m/s
  • Time (t) = 0.01 seconds
  • Mass (m) = 500 g

We have to change it in kg :

  • 500 g = 0.5 kg

To find :

  • Acceleration
  • Force

According to the question,

→ v = u + at

Putting the value according to the formula,

→ 0 = 50 + a × 0.01

→ 0 = 50 + 0.01 a

→ -50 = 0.01 a

→ -50 ÷ 0.01 = a

- 5000 = a

So,the acceleration will be - 5000 m/s²

Now we will calculate the force :

→ Force (F) = Mass (m) × Acceleration (a)

→ F = 0.5 × -5000

→ F = -2500 N

So,the force will be -2500 N..

Negative signs means that the force is acting on opposite direction.
