A hare runs at 5 m/s and a tortoise runs at 0.5m/s. They start from the same point in the same direction. How far ahead will the hare be after 30minutes?

the hare will travel 5m/s
in one minute 60 seconds are
so,60*50=3000
hence,it travels 5m/s so, 3000*5
=15000m=15km
hope it helps pls mark me as brainliest

A for hare
B for tortoise
in 30 min , distance cover by A = speed × time
= (5m/s)(30 min) = ( 5 m/s )(30×60 sec)
= (5×30×60 m)
= 9000 m

in 30 min , distance cover by B = speed × time
= (0.5m/s)(30 min) = ( 0.5 m/s )(30×60 sec)
= (0.5×30×60 m)
= 900 m
difference of distance of A and B = 9000 - 900 =8100 m

now in short way ..use relative speed
relative speed when both run in same direction = (Speed of A - Speed of B )

( if A > B )
= ( 5 - 0.5)
= 4.5 m/s
distance = speed × time
= (4.5 m/s) ×( 30×60 sec)
= 4.5×30×60 m
= 8100 m
