A has total of RS.590 in the denominations of Rs.50,20,10. The ratio of the no. of Rs.50 to Rs.20 is 3:5. If she has total of 25 notes, how many notes of each denominations she have?

total notes =25
let the no of 50 notes be 3x and Rs 20 notes be 5x.
so, no of Rs 10 notes = 25-(3x+5x)
=25-8x
so,50 (3x) +20 (5x) +10 (25-8x)=590
=150x+100x+250-80x=590
=170x=590-250
x=340÷170
=2.
so, no of Rs 50 notes is (3×2)=6
no of Rs 20 notes is (5×2)=10
no of Rs 10 notes is (25-10+6=25-16)=9

here we will solve it by equations.
let number of rs50 notes are X , of rs20 are Y,a nd of rs 1 0 are Y
so
50X + 20 Y + 10 Z = 590
and
X + Y +Z = 25
also
X:Y = 3:5
so Y = 5 X/3
putting value of Y in both equations
25X + 3Z =177
8X + 3Z = 75
solving both we get
X = 6 ,Z=9 and Y = 10
