• According to the question it is given ,
the resistance of the heater R = 10 ohm.
voltage = 120 v

• we should calculate the current.

• we know ohm 's law,

V = I R

implies,

I = V / R

therefore,

I = 120 / 10

I = 12 ampere .

therefore the current through the resistor is 12 ampere.
