A heating coil has a resistance of 200 ohm at what rate will be produced in it when a current of 2.5 a flows through it ?

H = I^2× R× t

H=2.5×2.5×200×1 sec

H= 6.25×200×1 sec

H=1250×1 sec

H=1250 joules

1250 joules heat is produced by the heater in one second so rare of production of heat is,

1250 joules/ sec.
