A Hemisphere and a solid cone have a common base. The center of mass of the common structure coincides with the center of common base. If R is the radius of hemisphere and h is height of the cone then h/R=

Solution:

Center of mass of cone= h/3 from base

Center of mass of hemisphere = R/2 from base

As both of center of masses coincide with each other, then it would be solved by the concept of center of mass.

By equating both sides, we get its answer.

h / R = 1. √3
