A hemisphere of lead of radius 7/2 cm is cast into a right circular cone of height 49/2cm. Find the base radius of the cone?????

Let us assume that, the base of radius of cone is r cm .

so,

→ Volume of cone = Volume of hemisphere

→ (1/3) * π * r² * h = (2/3) * π * (R)³

→ r²h = 2R³

→ r² * (49/2) = 2 * (7/2)

→ r² * (49/2) = 7

→ r² = (2 * 7)/49

→ r² = (2/7)

→ r = √(2/7) cm (Ans.)
