A hemispherical bowl is made of steel, 0.25cm thick. The inner radius of the bowl is

4cm. Find the volume of steel used in making the bowl.​

Answer:

Outervolume=2/3πR^3

R=4.25cm

Inner volume=2/3πr^3

r = 4cm

Innner volume = 2/3x22x4^3/7

= 134.lcm3

outervol=2/3x22x4.25^3/7=160.8

Vol. of steel used=160.8-134.1

=26.7cm3. Ans
