Inner radius(r) = 4 cm
Thickness of the wood= 0.5cm
∴Outer radius(R) = Inner radius (r) + Thickness of the wood
=4 + 0.5 = 4.5 cm
∴ Volume of the wood used to make the bowl = πr³(R³-r³)
= x x { (4.5)³ - 4³ }
=2/3 x 22/7 (91.125 -64 )
=2/3 x 22/7 (27.125 )
=2/3 x 85.25
=56.83 cm³
