We have,diameter of the hemispherical bowl, d = 36 cmradius of the bowl, r = d2 = 18 cmCapacity of the bowl = 23πr3 = 23π(18)3 cm3Now, the liquid from this bowl is transferred to 72 cylindrical bottles and during this,10% of the liquid is wasted.Now, volume of the liquid transferred = 23π(18)3 − 10100×23π(18)3 = 910×23π(18)3 cm3Now, diameter of base of each bottle, D = 6 cmradius of base of each bottle, R = D2 = 3 cmLet the height of each bottle = HNow, volume of each bottle = πR2H = π(3)2H cm3Now, volume of 72 bottles = 72×π(3)2H cm3According to question, volume of 72 bottles = volume of liquid transferred I.e 72 *pie r ^2 h.. Therefore H= 5.4 cm
