1) Sulphuric acid: Red
in Metal polish: Dark blue
iii) Washing liquid: Yellow
iv) Milk of magnesia: Light blue
v) Oven cleaner: Purple
vi) Car battery acid: Pink
Arrange the solutions in order of their increasing pH values (starting with the one with the
lowest pH).
b) Give one example each of a salt which gives an aqueous solution having:
i. pH less than 7
ii. pH equal to 7
