a hockey ball of mass 200 gram travelling at 10 M per second is struck by hockey stick so as to return it along it's original path with a velocity at 5 M per second calculate the change of momentum occurred in the motion of the hockey Ball by the force applied by the hockey stick

momentum = mass ×velocity

p=mv

mass is = 200gm

Initial velocity =10m/s

Final velocity =5m/s

velocity = Final - initial

5-10 m/s

-5 m/s

p=mv

p=200×(-5)

-1000 force applied on ball
