a hollow ball is released from bottom of pool.after a short time,it rises at constant speed,then resultant force acting on ball is????

If it rises at constant speed, the dv/dt=0, hence acceleration=o

From Newton second law Fresultant= ma, then if a=0ms-2,

Resultant force= zero

Zero because when the speed is constant the acceleration is zero As force=mass×acceleration If acceleration is zero Then force is also zero F=m×0 F=0
