vol. of metal used is 718 = πR^2h
vol.of outer diameter cylinder - vol.of inner diameter cylinder=718
vol.of outer diameter cylinder = πr^2h
=22/7*9*9*14
=3564
therefore 3564 - 718= vol.of inner diameter cylinder
=2846
πr^2h=22/7*r^2*14
r^2 = 2846*7/14*22
r^2 = 64.6
r^2 = 64( approx )
r = √64
r = 8 ( approx )
therefore thickness = 9-8 = 1cm
