A hollow cylinderical pipe is 4.2m long.If its Outer and Inner diameters are 8cm and 6cm respectively,Find
1) Surface area of The pipe
2)Volume of the Iron used to make Pipe

Plz answer step by step explanation!

I'll mark Brainliest!to the 1 who answers correct and 1st

IshmeetLotey: The cylinder is closed or open ??
Aloi99: mayb closed its not given!
Aloi99: its hollow
Aloi99: so it myt be open!
IshmeetLotey: ohk so I'll find curved surface area
Aloi99: ook

Hey buddy
here's the answer

h = 4.2m = 420 cm
d1 = 8 cm
r1 = 8/2 = 4 cm
d2 = 6 cm
r 2 = 6/2 = 3 cm

curved surface area
= 2 pie r h
= 2 × 22/7 × ( 4-3 ) × 420
= 2640 cm^2

IshmeetLotey: hope u understood
IshmeetLotey: u need the solution or only answer??
IshmeetLotey: plz tell
IshmeetLotey: ok then.... wait
IshmeetLotey: total bottles = 12+7 = 19.... total weigh = 19 × 250 = 4750g = 4.75kg
IshmeetLotey: Let total no. of bottles be X .... so., x-7=12......x = 12 + 7
IshmeetLotey: n rest is same

Answer:

Here your answer

R = Inner diameters=8cm

r = Outer diameter=6cm

Height=4.2m to cm

1m=100cm

=420cm

Tsa=2π(R+r)(h+R-r)

=2*22/7*14*422

=37136 square cm

Volume=πh(R square -r square)

=36960 cubic cm
