A hollow cylindrical copper pipe is 210 cm long. Its outer & inner diameters are 10 cm & 6 cm
respectively. Find the value of copper used in making the pipe?

Length or height of pipe=210cm

Outer diameter =10cm ⇒ outer radius =5cm

Inner diameter=6cm ⇒ inner radius=3cm

Volume of copper used= Volume of cylinder

=π(r22−r12 )×h

=π(5² −3²)×210cm³

= 22×210×(5+3)×(5−3)cm³

=3360cm³
