The Weight of pipe is 11.264 kg.

A hollow iron pipe is 28 cm long and its external diameter is 10 cm If the thickness of the pipe is 2 cm and iron weighs 8 g/cm³.

We have to find the weight of the pipe.

First, we have to find the volume of iron pipe.

Volume of iron pipe = π(R² - r²)h

Here, outer radius , R = 10cm/2 = 5cm

inner radius, r = R - d = 5 cm - 2cm = 3 cm

[d is thickness of pipe ]

and h = 28 cm

∴ volume of pipe = 22/7 × (5² - 3²) × 28

= 88 × (25 - 9)

= 88 × 16

= 1408 cm³

Now the weight of pipe = volume of pipe × density of iron.

= 1408 cm³ × 8g/cm³

= 11264 g

= 11.264 kg

Therefore the Weight of pipe is 11.264 kg.
