A horse is placed for grazing inside a rectangular field 70 by 52 and is tethered to one corner by rope 21 metres long. How much area can it graze?

Area=2πr

=2×22/7×21

=2×22×3

=44×3

=132m^2

.:.the horse can graze 132m^2 of grass in the land.

 \alpha  \div 360 \times \pi \times (radius) ^{2}

alpha = 90 degrees as the field is rectangular

, radius =21 metres , use the formula and find the ans . i got it as 346.5 square metres
