Given:

Area of rectangular field = 70m x 52m

Length of the rope to which horse is tied = 21m

To Find:

Area of the field that horse can  graze

Solution:

Area of grass grazed by the horse = θ/360 × πr²

Substituting the values

= 90/360 x 22/7 x 21 x 21

= 1/4 x 22 x 21 x 3

= 1386/4

= 693/2

= 364.5cm

Answer: The horse can graze the area of 364.5cm²
