Answer:

Money spent on 20 students for 30 days = Rs.3200

Therefore, money spent on 1 student for 30 days => Rs.3200/20 = Rs.160

Now, money spent on 1 student for 1 day => Rs.160/30 = Rs.16/3

Now,money used for 30 students => Rs.16/3 ×30 =Rs.160

Let, the number of days the food will last be x.

Therefore, number of days food will be left => Rs.160 × x = Rs.2400

=> x = Rs.2400/Rs.160

=> x = 15 days

The food will last for 15 days.

Answer:

hi there :)

Step-by-step explanation:

A hostel spends 3200 rupees as cost of rice for 20 students for 30 days

begin math size 16px style fraction numerator 3200 over denominator 20 cross times 30 end fraction equals 16 over 3 end style Rs. student per day

Let the number of days will last be x.

The cost should remain same for per student

begin math size 16px style 16 over 3 equals fraction numerator 2400 over denominator 30 straight x end fraction end style

x = 15 days
