A hot air balloon is descending at the rate of 16 per minute. If descent starts at 496 m above the ground level, after how much time will it be at height of 224 m above the ground lavel ? Also , find the time taken by the balloon to touch the ground . plz solve this step by step and plz make the language also ​

= 496m

Rate of descending of hot air balloon

= 16m/min

Time taken by balloon to reach the ground

= height of balloon / rate of descending

= 496/16

= 31 min

if balloon wanted to reach at 224m it has to cover a distance of

= 496 - 224

= 272m. (for this see the attachment)

Time taken by balloon to reach the height 224m

above the ground

= (distance that has to be covered by balloon to

reach height of 224m ) / rate of descending

= 272 / 16

= 17min
