a hot air balloon released from ground moves with a constant acceleration of 5 m/s^2. A stone is released from it at the end of 8 sec find the height of the stone from the ground at the end of 8 sec after it is released from balloon

We know that ,

S=ut +1/2 at²

Here the initial velocity is zero,
Therefore

S=1/2 at²

S= 1/2 ×5×(8)²

S= 32×5

S= 160 m.
