A) pH paper when dipped in solution of a sample changes its colour nd the pH value can be determined by matching it with the scale.

LITMUS IS OBTAINED FROM LICHENS .
AN ACID TURNS BLUE LITMUS PAPER RED
AND BASE TURNS RED LITMUS BLUE.

B] ( I ) ITS PH WILL INCREASE BECASUE OF MIXING OF SODIUM HYDROXIDE BECAUSE SODIUM HYDROXIDE IS A BASE.
(2) IT BECOME ACIDIC AND PH WILL DECREASE BECAUSE HCL IS A ACID.
