A) Ethene is obtained by cracking of kerosene. When bromine is added to ethene , it will form 1,2-Dibromoethane . The reaction is :

CH2=CH2 + Br2 →CH2Br−CH2Br

B) Ethene can be converted into polyethene by polymerisation reaction
