(ii)Also find the expression for the total resistance of this combination.
b) Show how can you obtain a total resistance of 6 ohm with three identical resistors of

Answer:
Min current means maximum resistance
So to get max resistance they should be connected in series since in series equalent resistance will be greater that greatest individual resistance
R=r1+r2+r3
Explanation:to get equalent resistance 6 ohm using 4 ohm resistor
Connect 2 4ohm resistor in parallel
Here 1/r =1/4+1/4=2ohm
This is connected in series with other 4ohm so R=2+4
So to get 6ohm as equalent resistance 2 resistor should be in parallel and 1 should be in series
Hope it is useful for you
