Given; two maths problems in 5 minutes

In a gulab jamun recipe, the ratio of the number of spoons of sugar to the volume of the water is 3: 20.

To Find; (a)how many problems can I solve in 10 minutes, assuming that the time in which I solve is proportional

(b)If you use 80 ml of water, how many spoons of sugar will you need for the recipe?

Solution; (a)

problems solved in 5 minutes=2

Problems solved in ten minutes=4

Hence four problems can be solved in 10 minutes

(b)20 volumes of water require sugar=3

80 volume of water requires sugar=12

Hence the number of spoons required is 12
