a. If one dozen oranges weigh 2.4 kg, then
how many oranges will weigh 10.2 kg? solve it by direct variation​

one dozen = 12 oranges

as it is in direct variation

12/2.4 = x/10.2

= 12×10.2 = 2.4x

12×10.2/2.4=x

points cancelled

12×102/24 = x

= 51=x

ANSWER = 51 Oranges
