Dolores Jane Umbridge - The Really Scary Mummy
Why do I not want to pick her?
- SHE HATES CHILDREN. She would not even hesitate to run me down with a tractor. She would give me good practice with her Blood Quill so I get a free tattoo on the back of my hand.
- HER DECREES, all over the house- "Spider dusting in the afternoon, bathroom chores in evenings, vegetable shopping, chopping, oh and then the mopping... applied to none other than my loving child!" and hundreds of other ridiculous rules will get my goat.
- HER ATTITUDE of always getting her own way through harsh means. She is way above any Death Eater.
- The HEM HEM HEM HEM.
Bellatrix Lestrange - Wife, Threat to Life
- SHE IS VILE. She tortures, makes innocent people suffer pain and agony, which can give peace only to her soul. She has a tendency to battle and violence. My dear life rests in her hands then.
- HER DEEP CRAZE should be so appreciated. It can drive anyone craaaazy. Setting homes on fire makes her laugh her heart out. And it is her scary high-pitched laugh that makes her sound not in her right mind.
- SHE LACKS EMPATHY. Her favourite is the Cruciatus curse, a curse that causes unbearable pain. She failed to make out that the people she tortured also had lives like her.
The other face
As always, there are two faces to a situation. One is the repercussions, which I have mentioned above. The other is the face of opportunity. Opportunity in choosing an evil mom or a killer wife? Very much so!
A Child of Umbridge
The only thing about Dolores Jane Umbridge that is not evil is that she is going make her child think and dream big, like being Minister of Magic. She would teach them never to hesitate to speak up for themselves. Her child would always have the courage to demand the things they want. At times, you have to do things that are best for you, not somebody else.
Bella's Life Companion
The repercussions of having Bellatrix Lestrange as a life partner are pretty grave. But despite all her faulty intellect, she displays a sheer quality of loyalty, the strength of every family, not just blood related. This quality in hers does not only extend to being loyal to others, but also being loyal to self. The time her fate was being announced, she still sat in her trial chair as if she were the Queen sitting on her throne. She enjoys her company. She has the courage of her convictions.
The answer
My decision is to accept 'Bellatrix Lestrange' as my 'wife'. Sure, I want to be ambitious and never hesitant to speak up for myself. But I would not want my loving mother to be transformed into a prejudiced mummy, no matter how much ambitions she fills into me.
On the other hand, being with Bellatrix is opting for self-confidence, loyalty and trust. She possesses these hidden qualities that anyone would want to carry with themselves. Also, at the end of the day, you will still find my corpse if she decides to kill me.
