the difference between a's and b's age = 2A - 50

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say A's age  =  A years

Let say A is as x year  younger than B

then B's Age = A + x  Years

C's Age = A - x  Years

sum of the ages of a and c is 50 years,

=> A + A - x = 50

=> 2A - x = 50

=> x = 2A - 50

the difference between a's and b's age = 2A - 50

Answer:

B-A = A-C

Then 2A = B+C

A = 50/2=25

But we don't know the age of B

Therefore (B-A) can not be determined
