Since A is the brother of B and B is the daughter of C, that means C has to be one of the parents.

In the next line we are given that D is the father of A, which leaves with us with the option of mother.

Thus C is the wife of D.

Wife and hudband, thus is because:

A is brother to B

B is daughter to C

Thus B is a son to C

D is father to A, also means that

D is father to B

Hence C and D are parents of A and B, Cis the mother and D is the father

C and D therefore are related by being wife and husband respectively.
