A=(2X+2)

B=(2X)

C=X

Hence adding the values of A,B and C

We Get,

A+B+C

5X+2=27

X=5

Hence value of B =10

Let C's age be x years.

Then, B's age = 2x years and

A's age = (2x + 2) years

Given, 2x + 2 + 2x + x = 27

⇒ 5x + 2 = 27

⇒ 5x = 27 − 2 = 25

⇒ x = 5

∴ B's age = (2×5) years = 10 years.
