A=B-4

B=4+A

A/B=7/9

9A=7B

9A=7(4+A)=28+7A

2A=28

14=A.

B=18.

The ages of A and B are 14 and 18 respectively.

Answer:

Let A = Sachin and B = Rahul

Let Rahul age be x years.

Then, Sachin age will be (x - 4) years.

According to Question now,

x - 4/x = 7/9

9(x - 4) = 7(x)

9x - 36 = 7x

9x - 7x = 36

2x = 36

x = 36/2

x = 18 years

Therefore,age of sachin will be 18 - 4 = 14 years.
