Solution :

Selling price of a Jacket

(s.p) = Rs1120

discount (d) = 20%

Let the marked price = m

m = ( s.p × 100 )/( 100 - d )

= ( 1120 × 100 )/( 100 - 20 )

= ( 1120 × 100 )/80

= 14 × 100

= Rs 1400

Therefore ,

marked price (m) = Rs1400
