A jar contains 18 marbles some green and others are blue.If a marble is drawn at random from the jar,the probability that is green is 2/3.FIND THE NUMBER OF BLUE MARBLES IN THE JAR.

Total number of outcomes = 18

P (Green) = 2/3

If number of green balls is G then;

G/18=2/3

G=18*2/3=12

Hence, number of blue balls = 18-12 = 6

So the number of blue balls is 6.
