Given,
Radius and height of vessel = 25 cm and 40 cm
Radius and height of the glass = 5 cm and 10 cm.
To Find,
The number of oranges required.
Solution,
no. of oranges = 2 x no. of small glasses
so, no. of small glass =
the total volume of juice = 22/7 x 25 x 40
the volume of juice is 22/7 x 25 x 25 x 40
no. of small glasses = volume of juice/volume of one small glass
⇒22/7 x 25 x 25 x 40 / 22/7 x 5 x 5 x 10
⇒ 100 glasses
no. of oranges required = 2 x 100
= 200 oranges
Hence, the number of oranges required is 200.
