Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1; pin point known and unknown data together with what's being asked to find.

h= 1.45 m, g or a= -9.8 m/s², v= 0, v0= ? & t=?

Step 2;  Find the initial velocity

V²= V₀² + 2ah

V₀= √(0 + 2(9.8m/s²)(1.45m))

V₀= 5.33 m/s (3sgf)

Step 3; Find the required time it takes

V= V₀ +at

0 = 5.33 m/s + (-9.8m/s²) x t

t= 5.33m/s ÷ 9.8m/s² = 0.544s

∵ t= to the time it takes to reach 1.45m

∴ irrespective of air resistance the time it takes to jump up and come back is equal

so the total time it takes is 0.544s x 2 = 1.07s
