Answer: (a) 264000 litres

               (b) 792000 litres

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Diameter = 12m      Radius = 6m

Height = 7m

Proof

Volume of cylinder = 2\pi rh

Volume = 2 x 22/7 x 6 x 7

             = 2 x 22 x 6

             = 44 x 6

             = 264 m^3

(a)   Now, we know that

      1m^3 = 1000 litres

      ∴ 264m^3 = 264 x 1000 litres

                       = 264000 litres

(b)   Volume in 1 cylinder       = 264000 litres

       ∴ Volume in 3 cylinders = 264000 x 3 litres

                                                = 792000   litres

HOPE THIS HELPS..

THANK YOU
